Food Service

Welcome back to school!

We are happy to confirm that once again, all students at Five Town CSD and MSAD#28, eat both breakfast and lunch for free.

We no longer ask you to fill out the Free and Reduced application. That form has been replaced with a “Economic Status Form” it is a tool used to determine our level of school funding. The application collects data that may significantly increase the funding our schools receive from the state, which means less local taxes need to be raised. Completing this form is an easy way to invest in education and in your community. This form will be sent out by the front office. Please fill it out, it will help us all out.

All our schools are following all the federal guidelines for a healthy nutritional meal to help keep our students full and focused during the school day. In addition to free meals during the day, we also offer free fruit and milk to students that choose to bring food from home, or just need a snack during the day.

Even though breakfast and lunch is free to all students, the high school offers a variety of items for sale, such as drinks, ice creams and assorted chips. To be able to buy these items a student or staff will need cash or have money in their school account. To add money into an account, follow the link below:

https://linqconnect.com/main

Please notice that this link is different from years past, we are replacing our POS system, same company, just a new software. If your student had any money left in the system, this money will roll into the new system, same with staff, if you had any money left in your account that will simply roll into the new program.

This new portal will be up and running on or around August 23rd, so please be patient.

The best part about this new system is that now a parent will be able to transfer money to a sibling or any student that is attending the same school.

If your student has any allergies, please reach out to the nurse at the school and they will make the kitchen managers aware.

Thank you,
