Important Snow Day Information

As winter weather has arrived, we want to remind families of our updated snow day procedures for the 2025–26 school year.

Three Traditional Snow Days Before Any Remote School Day
This year, the district will use three traditional snow days before considering a Remote School Day.

How Delays and Closures Will Be Announced
Please note the following important communication changes for this year:

No phone calls will be made for delays or closures.

Families will receive notifications via text message and email, typically around 5:30am.

The most current delay and cancellation information will always be posted on the district and school websites.

Thank you for staying informed and helping us ensure a smooth and safe winter season.

Important Note for Families of Student Drivers
If you feel your student driver does not have enough experience or skill to drive safely on snowy roads when school remains open, please consider having them ride the school bus or driving them to school yourself. Safety is our highest priority, and we appreciate your help in making safe choices during winter weather.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we prepare for the winter season.
