Earlier this month, Superintendent of Schools Maria Libby attended the kick-off of the 2025 AASA National Women's Leadership Consortium in Alexandria, VA. Themes from this year's conference included "leading with equity" and "mentoring the next generation of talent."
"Spending time with such a dynamic group of women leaders from across the country reminded me how powerful our collective voice can be in shaping the future of public education. From bold discussions on equity and innovation to personal stories of resilience and leadership, every moment was a reminder of why we do this work.
Thank you to AASA for creating this space for women in education to grow, connect, and lead with courage."
AASA, the School Superintendents Association, is dedicated to fostering a diverse leadership pipeline that champions the future of America's schools. The National Women's Leadership Consortium is specifically designed for women in leadership positions across all sectors impacting public education.
